Building For Eternity - The New Sanctuary Project

Building For Eternity
Our new church sanctuary!
Building Update

Since Victory Sunday, in April, almost two very wet months have passed. Our building site is still soaked as this is being written. But, that is OK! The Building Committee has been very busy finalizing the plans for our new sanctuary. Here is a brief look as to where we are as of June 2nd:

  • Construction drawings are now 95% to 100% complete.
  • Meeting with architect to complete odds and ends on June 5
  • Application for building permits completed this week?
  • Contracor selection should be completed in about three weeks?
  • Building start date (depending on weather) early July?

Victory Sunday was a huge success (thank you to the Building for Eternity Committee) and money continues to come in for the new sanctuary. While the money is a moving target, as of this writing, we have over $475,000 in hand and have paid bills (mostly architectural) totaling $34,216. For a complete up-to-date accounting on the money, and the building program, be sure to attend the annual meeting after Church on June 29th.

When we look at where we are, it can only be said the Lord blessed us richly! The most important thing you can do for this building project is to continue to PRAY!

PRAY FOR ALL THOSE INVOLVED, AND PRAY THAT OUR NEW SANCTUARY WILL BE A TOOL TO TOUCH PEOPLE FOR CHRIST!

3:16
The Numbers of Hope

The message of 3:16

A twenty-six-word parade of hope: beginning with God, ending with life, and urging us to do the same. Brief enough to write on a napkin or memorize in a moment, yet solid enough to weather two thousand years of storms and questions.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
