Sermon Notes from 4/12/2026 for Worship from 4/12/2026

Baptism is a God-given sign and command of the gospel, visibly portraying cleansing from sin, union with Christ and new life in Him. It does not save by the water itself, but it marks a believer’s public identification with Jesus and His church, sealing God’s promise to all who trust Christ. Additionally, it is a clear sign of obedience to a command from Jesus Christ and was a normal practice within the early Christian church.Obedience to God is not always easy and that is why He gives us the Holy Spirit to empower us in our walk. But some things are very easy…like inviting someone to come with you to GCC!
Give the Holy Spirit a chance and you may find that at minimum, we have a new church family member and, God willing, perhaps even a new Believer on Christ!
