Hi, I'm Byron Sheets! I am grateful to be one of the Elders at Grangeville Christian Church (GCC), located in Grangeville, Idaho. My beautiful wife, April, and I have been married for forty years. We both grew up at Middleton First Baptist. We dated during high school and we got married right after she graduated from college. It was about ten years into our marriage that God gave us the opportunity to purchase a farm north of town, which allowed me to start row-cropping and also give me the opportunity to begin serving as a young deacon/elder. Over time, God moved us to Eagle Christian Church and then on to Canyon Springs Christian in Middleton where I served as an elder for four years while the church membership grew to approximately 500 members.

 

My wife and I are blessed with four kids-two boys and two girls-and we claim their spouses as our own family. Our kids have blessed us with ten wonderful grandkids (if we knew how fun they would be, we may have had them first!). In 2021, after many prayers, we sold the farm, and God directed us to our new home in Grangeville.

 

My heart at GCC is Bible-based shepherding — prayer, practical caring and assisting families in following Jesus. If we have not yet met, I would love to meet you after service.
